From account creation to connection verification

Quick Start with CavaVPN

Follow the sequence: create an account, choose a plan, get your subscription, import it into the client, and verify the connection. Each step focuses only on what you need to do next, making it suitable for first-time users of cross-border network acceleration services.

ACCOUNT

Create an account and open the panel

First, open CavaVPN’s account creation page. Choose an easy-to-recognize username and a unique password, then submit the form as instructed. CavaVPN does not require an email address. Your username and password are the main credentials for signing in to the user panel, so check the spelling before submitting and store the password securely. After the account is created, the page will open the user panel. If you already have an account, use the “Log in” link in the top navigation instead of creating another one.

Once inside the panel, confirm that it shows the current account before choosing a plan. You do not need to install a client or look for a subscription link yet, because usable server configurations may not appear until a plan is active. Completing account creation and payment as separate steps reduces back-and-forth between pages and makes it easier to review the plan type before paying.

If the panel does not open after submission, check that the username and password fields are complete, then reload the page and try signing in again. Avoid creating several similar usernames, or it may become difficult to tell which account owns a plan. Further login troubleshooting is covered in FAQ; this page continues with the normal workflow after entering the panel.

PLAN

Choose a plan and complete the order

After signing in, open the Plans section in the user panel. The page lists monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly options are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they last until used and never expire.

First decide whether your usage will be continuous. Daily work, video, or long-term use usually suits a monthly plan, while occasional use may favor a data package whose remaining data stays available. All plans support unlimited devices, but data is shared across active connections on the same account. If you are unsure, read the complete plan details, compare reset rules, capacity, and use cases, then return to the panel.

After choosing a plan, select the matching option and review the order. Before paying, check the plan name, capacity, and amount again, then choose Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. After payment, do not submit the same order repeatedly; return to the panel and wait for the order status to update. CavaVPN offers 14-day no-questions-asked refunds. See the refund policy for the application process and eligibility details.

Once the plan status in the panel has updated, continue to get your subscription. If the payment page shows completion but the panel still displays the old status, refresh the account overview first. If it still has not updated, submit the order details through the panel’s ticket system instead of buying another plan.

SUBSCRIPTION

Get your subscription in the user panel

After the plan becomes active, open the account overview. Find the copy option in the subscription details and copy the subscription link to your device clipboard. The link lets the client read the servers and configurations available to the current account; it is not a regular web address and does not need to be opened in a browser. Keep the user panel accessible after copying so you can return and copy the link again if pasting fails during import.

The subscription link is tied to your account access and should be stored only on devices you use. Do not share it on public pages, in group chats, or in screenshots. The address shown below in this guide is only a format example; it is not connected to CavaVPN and cannot be used to connect:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

If subscription details do not appear in the account overview, first confirm that the order is complete, then refresh the overview. Repeatedly clicking Copy will not create a usable configuration while the plan is inactive. If the order is complete but the subscription section is still unavailable, use the user panel ticket system to provide the order status and platform, then wait for further assistance.

Go to the client only after copying the link successfully. Client downloads are provided through the user panel so you can avoid installing a version that does not match your system. This marketing page does not provide static installers or display an actual subscription address. Once inside the panel, choose the client for the operating system you are using.

IMPORT

Import the client on common platforms

Open the client download area in the user panel and choose the CavaVPN client that matches your device’s operating system. Install it before importing the subscription. Do not paste the subscription link into system network settings or a browser address bar. Client names and layouts vary, but the workflow is generally the same: find Add Configuration, choose Import from Link, paste the subscription link you copied, and wait for the server list to update.

Windows

In the user panel, get the CavaVPN client for Windows and install it. After launching it, open the configuration or subscription management area and choose “Import from Link” or a similar option. Paste the subscription link copied from the account overview into the input field. Confirm and wait for the client to retrieve the servers. When regional names and the server list appear, the import is complete. Return to the main client screen, choose a server, and get ready to connect.

If the list is empty after import, use the client’s Update Subscription feature instead of creating multiple identical configurations. If it remains empty, return to the account overview and copy the link again, checking for extra spaces before or after the pasted content. If Windows displays a network permission prompt, follow the system instructions required for the client to establish a connection normally.

macOS

Open the download area from the user panel and choose the CavaVPN client for macOS. The first launch may require permission to create a network configuration. Complete the authorization in the system dialog, then open the client’s subscription or configuration page. Choose to add a configuration by URL, paste the subscription link, and save it. After the servers load, select a region from the menu bar or the main client window, then enable the connection.

On macOS, check that the client has permission to create the required network configuration. If the button is available but no connection is established, disconnect first, quit and reopen the client, and choose a server again. Do not run multiple clients that provide the same network connection function at the same time, as their system configurations may overwrite one another.

Android

In the user panel, choose the CavaVPN client for Android. After opening the client, use the Add button on the home screen or the subscription management entry, then choose Import from Clipboard or Link. Paste the subscription link, confirm the update, and wait for the server names to appear. On the first connection, Android displays a system network connection permission dialog; confirm it so the client can connect.

After switching between mobile and Wi-Fi networks, the existing connection may need to be re-established. If you have just changed networks, return to the client and confirm its connection status before using the target service. To avoid duplicate configurations, use the refresh button beside the existing subscription when updating servers instead of adding it again each time.

iOS

In the user panel, check how to get the CavaVPN client for iOS and complete the installation through the provided entry. Open the client’s configuration or subscription page, choose Add Remote Configuration, and paste the subscription link. Save it, wait for the server list to refresh, select a region, and enable the connection. The first connection may prompt iOS to add a system network configuration; confirm it to continue.

If the connection status changes after the client moves to the background, reopen the client and check the current server. If a subscription update fails, confirm that the plan is still active, then return to the account overview and copy the latest link. For more complex background connection and subscription update issues, see the troubleshooting handbook; system-level investigation is beyond the scope of this page.

VERIFY

Connect to a server and verify it works

After importing the subscription, choose a region that matches your use case from the client’s server list, then connect. When the target service requires a specific region, prioritize that region. If you only need a better cross-border route, start with a server closer to your current location. CavaVPN covers 90+ countries and 200+ servers; see the server list for all regions and server types.

After connecting, do not rely only on the button color to determine whether it works. Open the website or app you actually need, reload it, and check whether it loads normally. If the page was already open, the old connection may still be cached, so close it and open it again, or send a new request from the app. Once verified, continue with normal use.

If the connection button shows that it is enabled but the target page still will not load, disconnect from the current server, switch to another server in the same region, and reconnect. After switching, let the target app reconnect instead of repeatedly refreshing the old page. If no server connects, check whether your local network can open ordinary websites normally. This helps distinguish a local network issue from a single-server issue or a problem with the target service.

There is no need to reinstall the client immediately if speeds are disappointing. Try a closer region first, or compare another server in the same region. During busy evening hours, different local networks may take different routes to the same region, so switching servers is often more direct than repeatedly changing client settings. For frequent disconnects, pages that will not load, failed subscription updates, or other issues, use the troubleshooting handbook to diagnose the symptom.

NEXT

Everyday use after setup

After one successful import, everyday use usually requires only opening the client, choosing a server, and connecting. You do not need to copy the subscription again each time. The client’s Update Subscription feature syncs the servers available to the account; run it manually when the server list changes or has not been updated for a long time. Do not delete a subscription configuration that is still in use, or you will need to return to the user panel and import it again.

Multiple devices can use the same account, and CavaVPN supports unlimited devices. Get the client for each platform separately from the user panel, then import the subscription from the account overview. Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date, while data packages never expire. Check the current plan in the account overview and decide whether to change plans based on actual usage.

This page covers only the essential workflow from account creation to a working connection. For server types, subscription updates, background connections on mobile, speed checks, and fault diagnosis, continue with the troubleshooting handbook. To check one common issue quickly, visit FAQ and browse by account, connection, speed, or billing instead of reading the long guide from the beginning.
